About Us

Âs Nutayuneân – We Are Still Here.

We are dedicated to reviving “The Native Way” of our Ancestors as a means of doing our part to help reduce the affects of climate change here and across the world. For us, this return is rooted in a spirituality that honors the Land, all of her resources and everything in Nature as sacred gifts from the Creator. As such, we seek to find ways that bring us back in harmony and balance with all things on and in the Earth. We seek to collaborate with those who want to provide everyone an equal share of the bounty around us without destroying or depleting the remaining precious resources: air, water, sky and land.

We are further committed to the spirituality and practices of our Ancestors that include kindness, inclusiveness, reciprocity and respect. These concepts are the foundation on which we seek to conduct ourselves within our Tribal Nation and in the world in general. In doing this, we hope to pass down a legacy that provides an sustainable and living Earth for the generations to come.

We are a large and extend clan living in and around our Ancestral homelands and throughout the World. We are a deeply diverse family who share a common vision of a world in which self-determination is a right and not a privilege. We will not let our mission be diminished by concerns of “recognition” by the dominant society as a Native American people.  We know who we are, and in that remain secure with a deep understanding and respect of the remarkable legacy passed on to us by our Ancestors.

We seek to work with other Indigenous People to bring about a just and more inclusive World where Native People have access to opportunities that were out of reach to our Ancestors because of the usurpation of their Land, traditions, culture and ways of life. We seek to remain neutral and remove ourselves from the many unnecessary conflicts and struggles between other Tribal Nations.

Finally, we look forward to coming together, to recapture “The Place of Peace” of our Ancestors, and to participate and join other Tribal Nations in the Great Awakening that moves us all toward a share destiny of peace and property.
