The National Museum of the American Indian – The National Museum of the American Indian is a museum in the United States devoted to the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. It is part of the Smithsonian Institution group of museums and research centers. The museum has three facilities.

Indian Country Today – a daily digital news platform that covers the Indigenous world, including American Indians, Alaska Natives and First Nations.

Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center – Tribal owned and operated since it opened on Aug. 11, 1998, the Museum brings to life the story of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. It serves as a major resource on the histories and cultures of Native Americans in the northeast and on the region’s rich natural history.

Tantaguidgeon Museum – Experience the spirit of the Mohegans and the beauty of Native America. Featuring eastern woodland Indian artifacts, the museum’s mission is to showcase objects from a Native American perspective.

Tomaquag Museum – an indigenous museum in Exeter, Rhode Island. The museum was founded by anthropologist Eva Butler and a Narragansett and Wampanoag woman named Princess Red Wing in the 1950s. It is one of the oldest tribal museums in the country.

The Robbins Museum – Also known as the Robbins Museum of Archaeology, is an archaeological museum operated by the Massachusetts Archaeological Society. It is located at 17 Jackson Street, Middleborough, Massachusetts, US. The collection numbers approximately 150,000 artifacts.

Shinnecock Cultural Center & Museum
– Native American owned and operated organization on Long Island dedicated to honoring the Ancestors and living history as Algonquin descendants. We exhibit Shinnecock history spanning over the 10,00 years our people have inhabited this area now called Long Island.

Massasoit State Park – A public recreation area located on the southeast side of the city of Taunton, Massachusetts, with some park lands spilling into the adjacent town of Lakeville. The state park encompasses more than 1200 heavily wooded acres that include six lakes and ponds and numerous cranberry bogs.

Nantucket Historical Association – Preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.

New Bedford Whaling Museum – Focuses on the history, science, art, and culture of the international whaling industry, and the “Old Dartmouth” region in the South Coast of Massachusetts.
