The Walmsley Wolf Clan Nemasket Tribal Preservation Trust

Our Preservation Trust exists for educational, scientific and charitable purposes which promotes the preservation and acquisition of the Natural Resources, Ceremonial Landscapes within our Historic Territories; to acquire and hold real property for educational, recreational and conservation purposes for the public and local wildlife both plant and animal life thereon, and unique scenic, natural and historical sites. These resources shall include land and water resources.

The Trust intends to educate our members and community within the historical boundaries of Massachusetts and Rhode Island of the rich history of the land that the Nemasket Nation (a.k.a Walmsley Family) continues to honor. The Trust further encourages the preservation and education of Nemasket History, Spirituality, and Culture for the benefit of past, present and future generations.

The Trust encourages Economic Development for Aboriginal Indians of the Nemasket Nation through Eco-Tourism, agricultural, Aquaculture, Water Rights, Cultural Activities, Fishing and Hunting Rights, Environmental Education, Historic Education, Outreach, Research, Collection of Indigenous Lore and Wares, Housing and the Maintenance of Indigenous Burial Grounds and Ancient Trails.
